Río Tapezco’s Farm

At 70 kilometers from the capital, San José, the Zarcero mountains are 1800 meters above sea level. In this high, fertile and volcanic land, we grow products such as: Astilbe, Agapanthus, Birds of Paradise, Ornithogalum, Iris, Gerberas, Ammi majus, Gladiolus, Lilies, and Sunflowers. Microclimates gives Río Tapezco the optimum natural conditions for growing this wide range of fresh cut flowers.

  1. Education has been free and compulsory.
